Job Details

An advanced aerospace and defense integrator is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead the verification, validation, and flight-test strategy for a mission-critical airborne system. This is a full-time opportunity requiring a strong test engineering background supporting DoD C4ISR, avionics, or tactical communications systems. The role supports a major modernization effort through FY25-27 and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

This position will lead the design and execution of testing efforts from lab checkout to flight validation, helping ensure operational readiness for next-generation airborne data systems. It's a hands-on and highly collaborative position ideal for senior-level test engineers ready to make a mission impact across digital and physical environments.

Required Skills & Experience
  • U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance
  • B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related discipline); M.S. preferred
  • 15+ years of DoD system-of-systems test engineering, spanning lab-to-flight test integration
  • Experience leading Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) for avionics or comms systems
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting (Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Ansible)
  • Hands-on use of test instrumentation and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Pandas, JMP)
  • Familiarity with environmental and EMI/EMC standards (e.g., MIL?STD?810, MIL?STD?461, RCC 324)

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting ABMS, CJADC2, OMS/UCI, or data link programs
  • Familiarity with Type-1 crypto, cross-domain solutions, and RMF/eMASS processes
  • Flight-test credentials such as USAF TPS graduate or FAA DER
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Test or integration with MBSE workflows
