Position Overview

The client is seeking an experienced Intune Administrator Consultant to assess, optimize, and enhance an existing hybrid Microsoft Intune and MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environment. This environment supports a diverse fleet of Windows, macOS, and mobile devices and is a critical component of the organization s device management and security strategy.

This is a hands-on consulting role requiring deep technical expertise in Intune MECM integration, Zero Trust security alignment, and enterprise endpoint management. The consultant will collaborate closely with Enterprise IT and Security teams (DAS/OIT & OISP), Microsoft, and support partners to ensure a smooth transition of the optimized environment to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Environment Assessment & Optimization

  • Assess the current hybrid Intune and MECM integration
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Design and implement enhancements to optimize device management and application deployment
  • Streamline software update management and compliance enforcement

Security & Zero Trust Alignment

  • Evaluate and strengthen endpoint security controls
  • Align Intune configurations with the organization s Zero Trust security strategy
  • Implement and support integrations with security tools such as CrowdStrike
  • Enhance compliance and reporting visibility to meet regulatory and security requirements

Infrastructure & Services Enhancement

  • Optimize Universal Print infrastructure and resolve performance or design issues
  • Improve reporting, monitoring, and compliance dashboards
  • Ensure endpoint management best practices are followed across platforms

Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer

  • Work closely with Enterprise IT, Security teams, Microsoft, and support vendors
  • Provide documentation, guidance, and knowledge transfer to internal staff
  • Support a smooth handover of the optimized Intune environment to in-house teams
