Our client, a cutting-edge aerospace company developing the next generation of high-speed defense and commercial platforms, is looking for a embedded software/firmware engineer to be a primary contributor to the development of firmware for custom vehicle avionics and ground support systems.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on embedded firmware, ideal for someone who thrives in real-time environments and wants to shape high-performance aerospace technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of real-time embedded firmware for flight control and avionics systems
- Work closely with hardware, guidance, and systems engineers to define and deliver integrated solutions
- Own firmware design, implementation, and bring-up across key subsystems
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape best practices in low-level software development
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development (C/C++)
- Strong background in hardware/software integration and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Experience with low-level drivers, board bring-up, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART)
- Aerospace or safety-critical system experience is a strong plus
