Position: Solution Architect
Location: Chicago, IL & Springfield IL (Hybrid Weekly 2 to 3 days need to be On-Site)
Duration: Full-time/Long Term Contract With potential extension.

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong focus on Salesforce and case management systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing solution architectures for Salesforce, as well as experience with SAP, Power Platform, and Document Management Systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to drive the successful implementation of complex IT solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture: Design and implement robust, secure, and scalable solution architectures specifically for Salesforce and case management systems. Ensure solutions meet both current and future business needs.
- Hands-On Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership and oversight across multiple projects, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce implementations and integrations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and technical teams, to gather and analyze requirements. Translate these requirements into scalable and efficient architectural designs, particularly for Salesforce and case management solutions.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible for all project stakeholders.
- Architectural Frameworks: Utilize architectural frameworks such as TOGAF to ensure the consistency and quality of architectural designs. Develop repeatable design patterns that enhance time-to-market and ensure the scalability of solutions.
- Integration and Migration: Lead the integration of Salesforce with other systems, including SAP, Power Platform, and Document Management Systems. Oversee data migration and retention strategies to ensure the secure and efficient handling of data.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the quality and performance of the Salesforce platform and related solutions. Implement best practices for secure solutioning and performance optimization.
- Time-to-Market: Develop technical roadmaps that streamline development processes and reduce time-to-market for new Salesforce solutions.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all Salesforce solutions adhere to security standards and compliance requirements, protecting both client and company data.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior architects and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a solution architect role.
- Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce, including case management systems.
- Extensive experience with SAP, Power Platform, and Document Management Systems.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) and on-premises technologies (e.g., OpenText, CGI Collection 360, Strata).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, and SQL, with familiarity in frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
- Proficient in database technologies (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, Informix) and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
- Demonstrated ability to transform large data streams into valuable insights.
- Experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide hands-on technical leadership over complex technical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data migration and retention strategies.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
