Job Details
A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for a Sr. DataHub Architect. This role is ONSITE in Torrance, CA with an initial contract of 8+ months, W2 only.

Qualifications:
Daily Tasks Performed
- Architect and customize DataHub, including pipelines, storage, and metadata models.
- Integrate DataHub with data lakes, warehouses, BI tools, APIs, and pipelines like Airflow.
- Build ingestion pipelines using Kafka, REST APIs, Python, and connectors for tools like Snowflake and Power BI.
- Lead metadata governance, lineage tracking, data protection, and ensure catalog adoption.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or metadata management.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and customizing DataHub, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Strong expertise in:
- Metadata standards and lineage frameworks
- Kafka, REST APIs, Python, SQL, and JSON-based data models
- Integration with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Airflow, Git)
