Regulatory Reporting Program Manager

Location - Onsite 3-5 days per week in Midtown, New York City 10019 - Local candidate needed in NY/NJ who can attend in-person interview in New York City.

18+ Months Contract

Program Director of Regulatory Reporting - Must have current Investment Banking experience . This person will be in a PMO Office leading projects related to FR-Y 15 and FR 2052A.

Job Description:

The Program Director will be leading large regulatory reporting projects for banking organizations in the USA and has preferably led projects related to Federal Reserve Regulatory Reports including but not limited to FR-Y 15 and FR 2052A. The Program Director should have experience in managing large regulatory reporting remediation or implementation projects such as CCAR, FR2052A or deployment of new Regulatory Reporting solutions with a focus on data quality, controls, and overall governance of the production of regulatory reporting.

Detailed tasks:

Project Management Office:

  • Organize and present the progress of the project to the overarching Steering Committee,
  • Setup and manage the working groups responsible of implementing the different streams of the project,
  • Design and follow the project plan,
  • Create KPI and KRI on the project and clearly escalate potential risk and delays on the project,
  • Leveraging previous experience in similar projects,
  • Build and monitor the budget of the project and its individual streams

Coordination:

  • Work closely will stream leader and managers of different departments (IT, Finance, Risk ) to ensure each stream is properly designed with clear objectives, milestones and deliverables,
  • Monitor that each stream reaches its milestones and produce the deliverables as expected and on time,
  • Reports the advancement of the streams to the steering committee and senior management,
  • Alerts senior management in case of delays or risks on work plan of each stream and its implications and impacts on the other streams and the overall project,
  • Animate and coordinate some of the work stream,

Key skills:

  • Has the capacity to manage several sub projects at the same time, and uses Jira to monitor the different streams.
  • Leveraging previous experience in similar projects, to help design and coordinate the project.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication and is used to communicate with all levels from the CEO to the internal staff developing the solutions.
  • Will be managing relationships with internal staff and external providers hired for the mission.
  • Will lead the Steering Committee Overarching the project and the working groups
