Licensing Compliance Specialist

Position Summary:

The Licensing Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all company and client licenses are properly prepared, submitted, and maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and an understanding of regulatory compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and submit principal, corporate, and occupational license applications accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed records of all active and pending licenses to ensure compliance with applicable laws and renewal deadlines.
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies to follow up on applications and resolve any licensing issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify documentation required for license submissions.
  • Monitor and track upcoming license expirations and ensure timely renewals.
  • Support internal audits and assist in preparing compliance reports.
  • Expected services include, but are not limited to, the preparation of principal, corporate, and occupational license applications. Additional clerical duties (mail, preparing express deliveries, copying, etc.) may also be assigned.
  • Perform other compliance and administrative tasks as needed to support the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 4 years of experience in licensing, compliance, or administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
