Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Developer to join a dynamic IT Corporate Applications team supporting business operations across multiple departments. This technical role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage the Atlassian environment while developing, maintaining, and optimizing mission-critical computer applications and databases. The position is eligible for a hybrid working arrangement, with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits. Contract length and office location are flexible, allowing for both in-office and remote work based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and strategic vision for the Atlassian suite, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related tools, architecting solutions for complex workflows, automation, and integrations.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance computer applications and databases that support daily business operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement automated workflows and integrations to streamline business processes and increase organizational productivity.
  • Support and optimize physical security and surveillance systems, maintaining continuous top-tier performance and reliability.
  • Build and maintain reporting tools for resource planning, project tracking, and billing to support departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and thorough documentation for developed solutions, ensuring best practices and compliance standards are met.
  • Research, design, and document new systems and applications, identifying opportunities for innovation and automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • For Lead Programmer Developer: Minimum ten (10) years of applicable Information Technology development and support experience.
  • For Senior Programmer Developer: Minimum six (6) years of applicable Information Technology development and support experience.
  • Proven experience administering Atlassian tools, specifically Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel macros, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Two or more years of experience within the utility industry.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Java, ETL processes, containers (Kubernetes, Docker), scripting (Powershell, Perl, Shell scripting, Python), and Web Service protocols (REST, SOAP, WSDL, XSD) is preferred.
  • Experience with automation and integration tools such as Ansible, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Jenkins is a plus.

Pay Range:
Lead Programmer Developer (Remote Eligible): $109,500.00 - $142,250.00
Senior Programmer Developer (Remote Eligible): $95,200.00 - $123,700.00
Programmer Developer II: $76,000.00 - $96,900.00
Programmer Developer I: $62,500.00 - $76,550.00

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
