Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Network Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, deployment, and management of secure, standardized, and automated infrastructure across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments. This position is critical for enabling seamless connectivity between compute resources across public and hybrid-cloud, driving innovation, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and deploy cloud networksin AWS, Azure and OCI, ensuring CFG's design principles
  • Design and implement hybrid-cloud environment utilizing Spine-Leaf architecture
  • Manage and optimize hybrid-cloud connectivity via AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and OCI FastConnect
  • Drive the product vision for a Multi-Cloud environment, ensuring a secure and repeatable network infrastructure
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate feedback into the product lifecycle
  • Create documentation and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations to help team members and internal customers
  • Use scripting languages like Ansible and Terraform to configure and manage network infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot networking and security issues and participate in a tier 3 on-call rotation

Qualifications, Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in network architecture or cloud services, with a focus on cloud networking and security
  • Proficiency in AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google Cloud Platform native networking and security constructs
  • Experience in the design and deployment of Aviatrix multi-cloud platform
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
  • Experience in IP Networking (e.g., Spine and Leaf Architecture, routing, switching, IPsec, VRFs).
  • Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, and Splunk.
  • Proficiency in using network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, tracert, NetMon).
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer Associate or Aviatrix ACE Professional or CCIE RS

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $ 123,200 - $ 184,800 .per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
