Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Tier 2 Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support to our clients and internal teams. This role is critical in escalating and resolving issues that cannot be handled at Tier 1, ensuring seamless product functionality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coding and production support experience in Java, microservices,
    Provide in-depth troubleshooting for escalated issues from Tier1 and tier 2 support,
  • This is 24*7 on call production support
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Java
  • support, including software bugs, configuration issues, and performance problems.
  • Collaborate with Tier 3 engineering teams for complex problem resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical issues using ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
  • Monitor application performance and error logs, leveraging tools like Grafana and Splunk.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and microservices development/support.
  • Strong knowledge of production support processes (L2/L3 support).
  • Experience with Grafana and Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
  • Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be local to Frisco, TX and available for Day 1 onsite work.
