Description

SAIC's Horizon program is seeking a Facility Manager to support the U.S. Space Forces mission of delivering warfighter capability via the Space Systems Command's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power and Battle Management, Command, Control and Communications weapon system portfolios. This p osition is available in El Segundo, California .

The Horizon program is supporting Government weapon systems program offices with subject matter experts that have a background with the Department of Defense major capability acquisition process. Horizon team members provide systems acquisitions and program management support on various capability development programs that are intended to protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of the advising and assisting the Government throughout the full lifecycle of systems acquisition processes that enable in most instances, rapid fielding to meet warfighter needs. The position may require some off-hours support.

Job Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
  • Interface with Active Duty, US Government, and contractor personnel to provide top-notch support with a focus on Office Management and Facility Operations in support of National Security.
  • Manage resource conflicts and all other types of variables impacting existing operations and future planning.
  • Must be able to obtain Facility Security Officer (FSO) certification within 6 months.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the facility's operation, such as:
    • Opening and closing the facility.
    • Coordinating contractor and vendor work related to renovations as well as maintenance.
    • Escorting visitors in UNCLASS and potentially Secure areas.
    • Stocking Cafe facilities when necessary.
    • Maintaining conference room schedules.
    • Scheduling and assisting with setting up special events (catering, A/V, etc).
    • Coordinating VIP and valet parking operations.


Qualifications

This is you:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of related experience, such as:
    • Proficiency with all MS Office suite and other tools: TEAMS, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, PDF applications
    • Ability to assist with Tier 1 IT support to include customer assistance with real-time trouble shooting of the facility's Audio-Visual capabilities to ensure they are functional for meetings and other customer functions.
    • Administration and office management.
  • Highly organized, task focused, advanced problem-solving skills, a customer service oriented.
  • Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
  • Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.

You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
  • Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, and other applications - this will assist with the operations of the facility as well as future planning efforts to include capturing requirements, budget planning, staffing, etc.
  • Experience in Event Planning and catering welcomed.
  • Knowledge of facility functions (e.g., electrical circuits, plumbing, work orders, vendor coordination, emergency preparedness) as well as physical security (e.g., access control, intrusion detection, CCTV).

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
