Job Title: Proposal Coordinator
Location: Remote

Position Overview

The Proposal Coordinator supports the planning, development, and delivery of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals for government contracting opportunities. This role is responsible for managing schedules, coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, and assisting with the production and submission of proposals. The Proposal Coordinator plays a critical role in helping the team meet deadlines and deliver winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, and templates.
  • Coordinate the collection, formatting, and integration of inputs from subject matter experts, writers, and business partners.
  • Ensure all proposal sections adhere to compliance, quality, and branding standards.
  • Track and manage proposal deadlines, action items, and deliverables using collaboration tools.
  • Support the preparation and facilitation of color team reviews, storyboarding sessions, and proposal meetings.
  • Proofread, edit, and format content for consistency, clarity, and compliance.
  • Support final production, packaging, and delivery of proposals in electronic or hardcopy format.
  • Maintain proposal repositories, templates, and version control systems.
  • Provide administrative support to Proposal Managers and Directors throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in English, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2 4 years of experience in proposals, project coordination, or related field (government contracting experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and proposal process is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with SharePoint or proposal management tools a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
