Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer RFQs and specifications for feasibility
  • Provide thermal calculations, coil sizing, and performance estimates
  • Support mechanical layout in collaboration with drafting team
  • Recommend optimal fin/tube geometries and refrigerant paths
  • Assist with technical documentation for quoting or customer review
  • Participate in virtual project reviews as needed

Qualifications
  • Mechanical or HVAC Engineer with 5+ years in refrigeration design
  • Strong understanding of vapor compression systems and heat exchangers
  • Experience with modeling tools (CoolPack, REFPROP, EES, or similar)
  • Familiarity with AHRI and ASHRAE standards
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar for layout review
  • Past experience with OEMs (e.g., Modine, Lennox, Heatcraft, etc.) a plus
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines
