ABOUT THE ROLE:
- 7+ years in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related fields, with 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
Top 3-5 Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premise and cloud).
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with proficiency in on-premise virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Advanced skills in IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).

Architect and lead the management of client s hybrid infrastructure, spanning on-premise and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
This role demands expertise in designing robust automation frameworks, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
You will mentor a team of DevOps engineers, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business objectives.
Senior DevOps Engineer
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will architect and lead the management of our hybrid infrastructure, spanning on-premise and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). This role demands expertise in designing robust automation frameworks, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems. You will mentor a team of DevOps engineers, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Enablement
- Work with a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Align DevOps initiatives with development, security, and operations teams to meet organizational goals.
- Oversee team performance, resource allocation, and professional growth through structured development plans.
Hybrid Infrastructure Architecture
- Design and manage highly available, scalable infrastructure across on-premise data centers and cloud platforms.
- Lead cloud migration strategies, hybrid integration, and optimization of on-premise systems (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Ensure seamless operation of hybrid environments with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
Automation & CI/CD Excellence
- Architect and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, integrating automated testing and deployment workflows.
- Drive IaC adoption with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to provision and manage infrastructure at scale.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to eliminate manual processes, enabling self-service capabilities for development teams.
Observability, Security & Compliance
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure proactive incident detection and resolution.
- Enforce security best practices, aligning with standards like SOC2, ISO27001, and GDPR, and collaborate with InfoSec for audits and remediation.
- Harden infrastructure against vulnerabilities and lead incident response for security events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with software engineering, IT, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions from ideation to production.
- Provide technical leadership to stakeholders and align DevOps practices with enterprise architecture strategies.
- Maintain thorough documentation and continuously refine processes based on industry standards and emerging trends.
Cost & Vendor Optimization
- Optimize cloud spend through rightsizing, reserved instances, and workload distribution across multi-cloud environments.
- Manage relationships with cloud providers, hardware vendors, and third-party services to ensure performance and SLA adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related fields, with 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
- Extensive experience managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premise and cloud).
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with proficiency in on-premise virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Advanced skills in IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
- Proficiency in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, ISO27001).
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer).
- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud architectures and cost optimization strategies.
