Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on SAP Procurement Product Owner with deep expertise in SAP procurement modules. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a functional environment, actively engages in system configuration, and has a strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes. This role requires hybrid work and only local candidates will be considered. We cannot provide sponsorship for this role at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Product Owner for SAP Procurement, driving roadmap, enhancements, and delivery.

  • Lead functional design workshops to gather and document business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

  • Perform end-to-end configuration of SAP modules (e.g., MM, PTP, SIM, Ariba) to support procurement processes.

  • Develop and maintain functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and integrations.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper system design and data flow across SAP and third-party platforms.

  • Execute system configuration tasks including setting up master data, document types, pricing procedures, approval workflows, and vendor management.

  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support, ensuring solutions meet business needs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to procurement transactions, workflows, and reporting.

  • Support cutover activities, data migration, and go-live readiness for procurement-related projects.

  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations based on user feedback and system performance.

  • Create and maintain training documentation and deliver end-user training sessions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize backlog items.

  • Own and optimize procurement processes and data structures across SAP systems.

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

  • Lead and support integration efforts between SAP and external procurement platforms.

  • Provide guidance on procurement best practices, compliance, and system capabilities.

  • Support testing, training, and change management activities related to procurement systems.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with a focus on procurement modules.

  • Strong configuration skills in SAP SIM, PTP, and SRM or Ariba.

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in SAP environments.

  • Deep understanding of procurement workflows, vendor management, and sourcing.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
