Position Summary:
Define the information security strategic roadmap by interfacing with core business functions and technology teams to identify required future state security capabilities. Create and implement detailed plans to ensure overall quality of all IT products, services, and systems for the CSSP internally and its subscribers. Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity developments within the Department of Defense (DoD) and provide conceptual analysis and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the information security strategic roadmap by interfacing with core business functions and technology teams
  • Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity developments within the DoD by actively identifying trends and technologies
  • Create and implement detailed plans to ensure overall quality of all IT products, services, and systems
  • Provide conceptual analysis, requirements analysis, design, implementation, and deployment documentation
  • Recommend appropriate technical strategies for resolving complex cybersecurity challenges
  • Assist and provide direction to branch managers, DoD, and other stakeholders
  • Identify specific vulnerabilities and make recommendations for expeditious remediation
  • Support the development of cybersecurity service capabilities and requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with strategic cybersecurity goals
  • Provide expertise on emerging cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies

Skills:
  • Deep expertise in DoD cybersecurity requirements and technologies

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Experience developing strategic cybersecurity plans
  • Background in requirements analysis and design
  • Experience providing technical guidance to stakeholders
  • Experience identifying and resolving complex cybersecurity challenges
  • Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements and policies
  • Experience with quality assurance for IT products and services
  • Experience with cybersecurity service provider operations

Preferred Experience:
  • 10+ years in DoD cybersecurity environments
  • Experience with CSSP operations and services
  • Background in cybersecurity architecture design
  • Experience with emerging cyber threat mitigation
  • Experience with strategic roadmap development
  • Experience interfacing with senior leadership on cybersecurity matters
  • Experience implementing quality assurance programs for cybersecurity services
  • Experience analyzing and responding to emerging cybersecurity threats
