Title: Salesforce Architect - II
Location: : Austin Oak Hill TX Hybrid 3 Days 2 remote
Duration: 06+ months (possibility to convert into fulltime based on the performance)
Job Summary
Working Hours (including time zone): 9-5 CST
Days of the Week (hrs per week): M-F 40 hours
The System Architect is the glue between Business and IT in the Sales Area. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of the business on a strategic and operational level and translating those into sound solutions. Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud have no secrets for you. You understand CPQ processes. You will take part in business requirement gathering, take a lead in architecting, designing and -in some instances- implementing solutions. You will be working in an Agile and DevOps way, together in a supporting environment, with a continuous focus on development and coaching.
Preferred Industry Background:
- 5+ years experience in Information Technology (Consultancy, Project or Development) in the Sales and Marketing domain
- Deep core competence in applying IT strategically to fundamentally change an enterprise and enable a company to achieve its strategic, tactical and operational goals
Job Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work together with the business to understand and analyze their requirements, and propose (IT) solution directions, in line with the Client enterprise architecture.
- Team up with internal and external resources to implement solutions and provide architectural oversight
- Collaborate with other architects within the company to deliver end-to-end solutions that are transformational leveraging AI/ML
- Help define the architectural roadmap and strategy for the team to create future-proof solutions
- Create and maintain architectural documents for applications within the team s portfolio
- Define and execute POCs, and/or apply code to testcase solution direction, if needed
Required Technical Skills: (listed in order of importance) Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, Einstein/Agentforce and Datacloud
BonPreferred Skills: Model N, Eloqua, (gen)AI/ML
o Functional areas like: Customer Relation Management, Revenue management, Channel management, Pricing and Quoting, Product Support, Customer Support, Sales Incentive Planning, (Customer) Master Data management
- Experience using Agile methodologies and familiar with tools for Agile project management and software development
o Knowledge of, or experience with development languages, tools, technologies and frameworks used to deliver state of the art, secure solutions for Sales and Marketing
o Experience with Continuous Integration tools and processes
o Knowledge of how to leverage Business Intelligence/Analytics
Soft Skills:
- able to collaborate and partner with business and IT in defining, preparing and executing projects and change programs
- able to get your point across to your juniors, peers and management in IT as well as business
- an excellent communicator with good presentation skills and the ability to work with a geographically dispersed, multi-cultural team
Education/Certifications: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent years of relevant experience
