Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Controller / Jr. CFO to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in manufacturing finance and a hands-on approach to leadership. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of our parent company and its subsidiaries, navigating structural changes, and supporting the expansion into new sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial operations for the parent company and two subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Lead the transition of two firms from S Corps to LLCs, providing strategic financial guidance and execution.
Manage accounting processes, financial reporting, and budgeting with precision.
Implement and optimize inventory management practices, considering product and supply expiration dates.
Support the company's growth into diverse sales channels, including QVC, online platforms, and retail outlets.
Ensure seamless financial integration with (Accounts Payable) and Trinet (Payroll).
Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a results-driven and collaborative environment.
Maintain strong financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard the company s assets.
Qualifications:
15+ years of financial experience with increasing responsibility.
10+ years as a Controller in a manufacturing capacity.
Solid expertise in manufacturing finance, with some exposure to retail operations.
In-depth understanding of multi-channel sales strategies (QVC, online, retail outlets, etc.).
Strong proficiency in NetSuite this is a must-have skill.
Exceptional people skills and a proactive, do whatever is needed mindset.
Experience managing structural financial transitions (S Corp to LLC) is highly desirable.
