Location: Remote

Job Description

The Analyst, Assurance, Quality is responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and overall quality of solutions developed and maintained within the Microsoft 365 (M365) ecosystem. This role involves supporting M365 applications, performing quality assurance across Power Platform solutions, administering SharePoint environments, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards and governance policies. The ideal contractor will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a large corporate or government setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the Microsoft 365 (M365) Cloud Suite, ensuring operational reliability and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance, validation, and performance checks for solutions built using the Microsoft Power Platform PowerApps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI.
  • Participate in the development, review, and quality evaluation of applications built with .NET technologies (C#, MVC, Entity Framework) and front-end tools (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Create, validate, and manage PowerShell scripts to support automation and ensure consistency in administrative operations.
  • Support and assess configurations across Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD, and the Azure ecosystem for compliance and best practices.
  • Perform Microsoft 365 development tasks and SharePoint Administration, ensuring solutions meet quality and governance requirements.
  • Develop and review Canvas and Model-Driven PowerApps, ensuring they adhere to design, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Customize SharePoint lists and integrate disparate systems via PowerApps while evaluating solution quality and operational stability.
  • Ensure proper management of permissions, compliance settings, and data retention policies across M365 environments.
  • Utilize Copilot for Power Apps, Copilot for Power Automate, and AI Builder to enhance solution efficiency and validate their functional quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the M365 cloud environment, including AvePoint Online Services, with a focus on ensuring quality and continuity.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and technical assessments for multiple audiences, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements, ensure solution alignment, and maintain strong working relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 cloud environments in a large corporate or government environment.
  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Strong background in .NET development C#, MVC, Entity Framework.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Skilled in creating and reviewing PowerShell scripts.
  • Solid understanding of Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD, and the Azure ecosystem.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 development and SharePoint Administration.
  • Proven ability to develop and validate PowerApps models and evaluate solution quality.
  • Experience customizing SharePoint lists and integrating systems through PowerApps.
  • Knowledge of M365 governance, including user permissions, compliance rules, and data retention.
  • Experience with Copilot for Power Apps, Copilot for Power Automate, and AI Builder.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical analysis capabilities across the M365 cloud platform and AvePoint Online Services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Ability to maintain and build strong relationships with business units.
