The job description is as follows:

Job Title: Sr BI Engineer Looker/SQL/Google Cloud Platform

Locations: Remote / Home Based

Duration: Long Term

Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional (10+ years) to join our team for a high-impact data migration project.
  • The primary focus is migrating enterprise dashboards and reports from Tableau (80%) and Qlik to Looker on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work daily with Looker, Google Cloud Platform, and SQL to support and execute migration activities.
  • Assist in migrating data and dashboards from EDW Teradata and Tableau/Qlik to Looker.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful migration outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize dashboard performance on Looker and Google Cloud Platform.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in SQL, dashboarding, and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Looker.
  • Prior experience with Tableau (primary) or Qlik.
  • Experience in data migration projects, ideally involving Teradata to Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Nice to Have:

  • Some knowledge of Teradata (can be learned on the job).
