Human Spaceflight Test and Verification Engineer
The Opportunity:

Your ability to translate real-world needs into te chn ical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.

As a test and verification or systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape systems by contributing to test and verification activities across multiple system and sub-system teams throughout development. On our team, you'll be able to grow your skills by merging spaceflight system knowledge and systems test engineering to create solutions to some of the most complex engineering and integration challenges in human spaceflight.

Our current opportunity is providing surge support as a Test and Verification Engineer. In this role, you use your knowledge of test and verification activities to flesh out details of test cases and events, incorporating input from requirement owners and subsystem leads. You will elevate issues that require input from Senior Leadership to resolve. After the surge support, we anticipate the role to extend, permanently transitioning into integrating the test cases and events further through the T&V lifecycle, ultimately participating in the testing itself. You will create the future of human spaceflight.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with either systems or test engineering
  • Experience with test and verification activities on complex engineering systems, including writing or running test cases or events
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Subject Matter Experts and incorporate their feedback into test and verification documents
  • Ability to work collaboratively and resolve issues with multiple customers and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Engineering field


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with commercial human space flight programs
  • Knowledge of common Space Vehicle Systems, including Extra Vehicular Activity, Environmental and Life Support, Thermal Systems, Structures, Avionics, and Power Systems

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
