Senior Principal Engineering Product Manager IS

The Senior Principal Engineering Product Manager is both broad, across a business unit and deep, in terms of technical, process and continuous improvement required to run and maintain an enterprise wide IS service. This role is both enterprise in nature and startup in mindset. This role works in a fast paced, evolving environment, have with constant demands for better services. It requires strong problem resolution, decision making, communication and partnering skills. This role requires someone to be both a leader and teacher a coach as we continue to advance to cutting edge, innovative mindset, and skill set to the organization. It requires a leader that thrives through creating a vision, building consensus, and driving teams towards results. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus resource and technical constraints.

  • Washington: Puget Sound Region (Redmond, Renton, Seattle)

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
  • Coursework/Training: Training in product development, change management or operational improvement methodologies
  • 10 or more years product management/development or equivalent experience and a record of successful product delivery, with a minimum of 2 new products (or substantial redesigns/upgrades) launched during this timeframe
  • 10 or more years hands-on experience with Interoperability tools, data aggregation platforms, Product Management App, integration engines and languages: HL7, IHE, APIs, XML, HTML5, .Net, or other similar tools. Familiarity with SQL, eMPI, Analytics and UI and UX tools
  • 8 or more years of experience working with healthcare data and healthcare operations
  • Presentation and facilitation experience to both technical and business/operations audience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • 10 or more years HIE/Interoperability experience
  • Successful track records of working with agile teams
  • Experience as a supervisor or manager of people

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
