Position Summary:

Candidate should have demonstrable years of solid experience in Java, J2EE in a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to the delivery of software projects through their technical efforts effectively with cross functional and cross organization teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain Digital APIs by implementing in various modern technologies
  • Work closely with the Engineering leads, Product leads, architects, product owner to design and develop services.
  • Develop and perform unit testing, integration testing engaging interfacing application Prototype solutions as needed.
  • Build scalable and fault tolerant solutions Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams.
  • Develop solutions to real world problems and provide effort and cost estimates.
  • Work alongside administrators to ensure smooth deployment of changes.
  • Mentor junior and new software engineers.
  • Review functional requirements, implement test plans, and test cases for automated/manual testing
  • Experience in data test cases development, test report documentation, regression testing
  • Utilize, expand and create new automated testing frameworks, preferably using BDD, Selenium.
  • Identify quality issues and create test reports

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in various technology platforms and frameworks, both front-end and back-end that includes JAVA,/J2EE, Java Script, Angular.js, React.js, Webservices (REST, GraphQL), Design Patterns, Microservices Architecture, Database Management using IBM DB2, SQL/Stored Procedure, XML, JavaScript, HTML etc.
  • 10+ years of relevant and current digital and/or ecommerce experience including APIs, Micro services, customization, integration, UI development and analytics
  • 10+ years of experience in building API's in various technologies like Java/J2EE/SpringBoot, NodeJS,Google Kubernetis Engine,Rancher Kubernetis Engine
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications & API's in Google Cloud environment
  • 10+ years of Experience in Node.js, frameworks (e.g. Express), and JavaScript.
  • 10+ years of Experience in server-side templating languages, front-end technologies
  • 10+ years of experience developing RESTful web services
  • 10+ years of experience in working with design and development of microservices using Spring Boot
  • 2+ years of GraphQL queries backend implementation
  • Experience in applying DevOps strategies, designs, implementations, and working with tools and utilities like GitHub, CircleCI, Harness
  • Good knowledge and experience working on relational databases like Oracle, DB2 , MySQL
  • Good working experience in NoSQL data bases like MongoDB, Cassandra , Redis
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams
  • Excellent communications skills with ability to communicate effectively in visual, verbal, and written form.
  • Strong desire to build in test from the start with TDD development experience
  • Experience in functional automation tools Experience in API testing using Postman/SoapUI or other tools
  • Experience in using Application Lifecycle / Test Management tools - Rally,JIRA

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in large Retail, Pharmacy, a plus
  • Experience in FHIR API's development
  • Experience with AngularJS preferable
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy - Modernization with decommissioning legacy systems.
  • Strong desire to build in test from the start with TDD development experience
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Principles

Education:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$144,200.00 - $288,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
