Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices is transforming to a digital-first Med Tech business. With great innovation, market opportunities, and an audacious strategic intent, we are combining robotic assisted surgery platforms, connected devices, surgical instrumentation, advanced imaging, enhanced surgical visualization, surgical efficiency solutions, and OR workflow integration for the next generation Med Tech platform. As a result, we will also create new surgical insights, drive supply chain innovation, leverage cloud infrastructure, integrate cyber security, interface with hospital EMRs, and elevate our patient pathway franchise digital solutions.
Polyphonic is the open ecosystem for surgery that enables surgeons to leverage clinical and operational efficiencies through streamlined workflow and actionable data and analysis. The Technology leader Polyphonic is a strategic IT executive responsible for driving the vision, development, and execution of advanced digital solutions for the operating room and healthcare environments. This role centers on building and leading high-performing IT teams, overseeing the technical infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration of digital tools and platforms that support clinical workflows and patient care.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Deep understanding of the digital transformation landscape, including AI/ML, robotics, cloud computing, data security, and digital health ecosystems.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., MDR, FDA, GDPR) and standards relevant to medical technology and digital health.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
10+ years in IT leadership roles, with significant experience in healthcare IT environments or similar complex, regulated domains.
Deep expertise in developing and managing digital solutions for clinical settings, including the integration of medical devices, real-time data systems, and user-facing applications.
Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM), cybersecurity frameworks, and system interoperability.
Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary IT teams, manage large-scale projects, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals for digitalization of healthcare and enhanced experiences in the operating room.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of secure, scalable IT systems, including cloud infrastructure, data analytics platforms, and medical device integration.
- Lead the selection and implementation of healthcare IT solutions that improve workflow efficiency, data interoperability, and user experience for clinical staff.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare IT regulations, cybersecurity standards, and best practices in data privacy (e.g., GDPR, ISO 13485, MDR).
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess needs, prioritize IT projects, and deliver innovative technology solutions.
