Description
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team on a contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in building and maintaining scalable IT infrastructure to support the rapid growth of a healthcare organization. This position is based in San Antonio, Texas, and offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions using platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
Develop and maintain both local and cloud-based networks to support teams ranging from a few users to over 200 users.
Oversee network refreshes, server migrations, and data/software migration projects to ensure seamless transitions.
Manage and migrate enterprise systems to Office 365 and Azure, optimizing performance and scalability.
Automate provisioning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new on-premise and cloud-based solutions that align with evolving business requirements.
Maintain and manage Active Directory, ensuring secure and efficient access control.
Provide technical support for VMware, SharePoint, and VOIP systems to ensure reliable operations.
Monitor and troubleshoot database management systems to maintain optimal performance.
Ensure the IT infrastructure adheres to industry best practices and security standards.
Requirements
Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of Active Directory and its integration with cloud-based solutions.
Hands-on expertise in migrating systems to Office 365 and Azure.
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting VMware, SharePoint, and VOIP systems.
Solid knowledge of networking concepts, including designing and implementing scalable networks.
Demonstrated ability to automate provisioning processes to streamline operations.
Excellent database management skills, with a focus on performance optimization.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and PC hardware/software configurations.
