Title: Senior Windows System Administrator
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Compensation Range: $180 -$200K

Qualifications :
  • Candidates must be willing and able to perform System Administration on Windows systems
  • At least 6 years of hands on Windows System Administration experience:
  • Experience writing and maintaining Windows batch jobs
  • Build Active Directory domain servers
  • Create Windows Templates
  • Experience writing Windows Powershell scripts
  • Experience with Splunk, specifically being able to set up and maintain the server infrastructure and form queries.
  • 6 years of experience with all facets of administering a production system:
  • Management of: Users & File Systems, Backups, Patches, Security, Networks:
  • Hardware administration/troubleshooting/installation
  • Software installation, administration & troubleshooting
  • Performance tuning
  • System Monitoring & Health monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Use of customer's: software repositories, authentication services, network services, COOP facilities, SSP & asset management systems
  • Professional skills:
  • Effective communications skills & documentation skills
  • Ability to work with large team of developers
  • Ability to manage a small team of administrators
  • Willingness to take direction
  • Willingness to interact with customer watch facilities
  • Understanding/appreciation of customer mission requirements
