Job Details

Location: Englewood, CO (ON-SITE ONLY)

Pay: $110K - $157K per year

DISH is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Leader with System Architecture Background and a deep understanding of the platform along with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. You will be responsible for managing a team of Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Analysts, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring optimal utilization of the platform to achieve business objectives. Additionally, your system architecture background will be invaluable in driving design and implementing robust, scalable Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire a team of Salesforce professionals including developers and system administrators, fostering collaboration, development, and high morale
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and mentoring to enhance individual and team performance
    • Manage workload, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Salesforce Expertise:
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce architecture, functionality, and best practices
    • Configure and customize Salesforce instances to meet specific business needs and optimize user experience
    • Analyze data and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize workflows
    • Guide and train Salesforce developers to reach new levels of expertise
  • System Architecture:
    • Work alongside Dish Business salesforce architect to collaborate on design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and developers, to understand needs and translate them into actionable solutions
    • Stay informed of the latest advancements in Salesforce technology and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Project Management:
    • Manage Salesforce projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined goals
    • Develop and document project plans, track progress, and identify and mitigate risks
    • Define annual system development goals, maintenance, and drive capacity planning across allocated team members
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver successful outcomes
  • Metrics and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure Salesforce user adoption, data quality, and system performance
    • Generate insightful reports and presentations to communicate platform value and ROI to stakeholders
    • Continuously identify and implement opportunities for improvement based on data analysis

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline (or equivalent work experience); Masters Degree a plus
  • 8-10+ years of experience working with Salesforce, including experience in configuration, customization, administration, and development
  • 2-5 years of experience managing a team of Salesforce professionals

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills

  • Ability to effectively prioritize efforts on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Developer, Advanced Admin, etc.) are a plus
  • Apply objective, analytical, and orderly thinking to the analysis of complex problems
  • Demonstrate curiosity, embrace the adventure, willing to take risks & try innovative approaches, being adaptable to change, and learn from failures
