RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a .Net Developer (AWS) in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
* .Net Developer (AWS) will drive the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through implementation using Agile practices
* Act as a technical authority on assigned projects, producing detailed specifications from conceptual designs and business needs
* Maintain and improve application functionality, ensuring thorough documentation
* Research and recommend emerging technologies to strengthen our solutions
* As a .Net Developer (AWS), you will diagnose and resolve code issues, applying fixes and optimizations as needed
* Partner with internal teams and external vendors to plan and deliver high-quality solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
* 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and debugging large-scale or proprietary software in an Agile environment
* Hands-on expertise with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cognito, Route 53, DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, and API Gateway
* Proficiency in cloud automation tools and scripting languages (Git, Python, Bash, PowerShell)
* Strong command of Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core, SQL/NoSQL databases, and software design patterns
* Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and application architecture
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
