Location: Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MongoDB Analyst to manage, analyze, and optimize large-scale NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing data models, ensuring data integrity, improving database performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain MongoDB databases and collections

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and schema design

Monitor database health, performance, and storage usage

Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across MongoDB environments

Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to support application and reporting needs

Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Troubleshoot and resolve MongoDB-related issues in development and production environments

Document database structures, processes, and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

Strong understanding of document-based data modelling and PBM Experience.

Proficiency in MongoDB query language (CRUD operations, aggregation framework)

Experience with indexing strategies and performance tuning

Knowledge of data security, access control, and encryption best practices

Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MongoDB Atlas

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Node.js

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Understanding of data visualization or BI tools

MongoDB certification (associate or professional)

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
