Full Time Security Officer

Location: Chelmsford, MA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 2nd shift 3pm-11pm

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Securitas USA is hiring a dependable and professional Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at a local corporate site. The ideal candidate is observant, approachable, and takes pride in providing a calm and secure atmosphere for employees, visitors, and contractors. This is a full-time position with consistent hours and opportunities for growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor entrances, exits, and general activity on site
• Greet and assist employees and visitors in a professional manner
• Perform routine patrols of the premises (interior and exterior)
• Monitor security systems such as CCTV and access control
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or alarms as needed
• Complete daily activity and incident reports clearly and accurately
• Ensure doors, gates, and restricted areas are properly secured
• Enforce basic company policies and site rules
• Support emergency response procedures when necessary
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior security experience preferred, but not required
• Good communication and observation skills
• Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Must pass background check and drug screening
