ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking an IT Asset Manager for a contract opportunity with one of our top Healthcare clients in the NYC Metro Region. This individual will be helping to build formal processes for Hardware Asset Management (HAM), from procurement through EOL, using ServiceNOW and CMBD for enterprise tracking.
Please note - this role is onsite 5 days / week in Westchester, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focused on IT Hardware Asset Management (HAM) for the organization
- Developing and maintaining structured processes to track and manage the lifecycle / end of life for all IT Assets within the organization
- Partnering with leaders across the organization to track and plan for IT Asset needs in ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Working with CMDB as the system of record for all configuration item (CI) data
- Managing the planning and procurement for new hardware assets (laptops, routers, switches, wireless access points, servers, etc)
- Handling contract negotiations and service contracts with IT hardware and services vendors
- Supporting negotiations and managing the legal agreements, licenses and ongoing support contracts with vendors
- Benchmarking and tracking vendor performance
REQUIREMENTS
- Local to White Plains / Able to work onsite
- Minimum 3+ years of IT Asset Management experience
- Proficiency with ServiceNOW CMDB
- HAM / Hardware Lifecycle Management
- IT Vendor Management
- Prior Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US Talent must be local to the NYC Metro / Wetchester area and willing to work onsite in White Plains, NY
