Urgent Technical Release Management and Production Support Location: Remote in USA Duration: 6+ Months Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Engineer with strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will be capable of taking on responsibilities related to Release Management and Production Support, ensuring seamless operations in these critical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of Release Management, coordinating and overseeing the successful delivery of software releases.
Manage Production Support activities, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Proactively identify and address potential production issues before they affect systems or users.
Orchestrate and coordinate responses to production support incidents, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release and support processes.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of releases, incidents, and ongoing production support activities.
Document and share best practices for both release management and production support to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and system architecture.
Proven track record of managing release processes and providing production support in a complex, high-demand environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and effectively report to stakeholders at various levels.
Should have participated and managed CMRB meetings from Application Service Owner perspective
Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to anticipate issues and take timely action to resolve them.
Familiarity with automation tools for release management and production monitoring is a plus.
Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution in production environments.
