Full Stack Development Lead

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Full Stack Development Lead for our client in the Government Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: Princeton, NJ or Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid)

Salary: $65-$75/Hourly

Role Description: The Full Stack Development Lead must have at least 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of developers (Onshore/Offshore) of full stack web applications and contribute to all phases of implementation starting from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify/discover requirements.

- Take ownership of one or more Digital applications and become the go-to subject matter expert of these applications.

- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, and ensure adherence to coding best practices and standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and designers, to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business requirements.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

- Perform POCs and propose innovative solutions to solve business problems.

- Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in full stack web application development, with strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, Java SpringBoot microservices, Node.js, AWS Lambda, API integration, Postman, Swagger.

- Strong hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript, npm, HTML, CSS and its ecosystem.

- Experience with Node.js and its frameworks, such as Express.js, for server-side development.

- Experience of designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services using Java SpringBoot.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, S3, Lambda, Cognito, DynamoDB.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
