Immediate Opportunity - IT Internal Controls Analyst -Direct Hire

Vaco is partnering with a top-notch company in the San Antonio area to hire a passionate, enthusiastic, and inspired individual for the role IT Internal Controls Analyst who will play a key role for the organization. This is an hybrid \ on-site direct hire position for a reputable company based in San Antonio.
Primary responsibility is a professional with experience related to IT General Controls (ITGC), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Internal Audits, and Agreed Upon Procedures engagements and is quick to learn. .. This position will play an integral part in creating standards/internal processes for IT GRC (audit requests; risk assessment; controls monitoring; issue management; policy lifecycle management). This position will work with IT leadership in key projects and initiatives focused on implementation of process improvements related to ITand reducing/eliminating audit risks.

Experience

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in information technology, accounting, finance, or related field. Relevant years of experience at the professional level may be substituted for the education requirement.

  
  


• 
  

  Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), preferred but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), preferred but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in IT compliance, SOX IT General Controls and/or IT audit experience including control design, testing and reporting.

  Knowledge and experience contributing to SOX audits and Compliance Frameworks (e.g., COBIT), as well as an understanding of the IT General Controls
