Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Audiovisual Engineer to provide AV support to our clients throughout the United States. Expertise is needed to configure, program, maintain, and test AV equipment, as well as provide client training.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with current Full Scope Polygraph (FSP), for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Audiovisual Engineer to provide AV support to our clients throughout the United States. Expertise is needed to configure, program, maintain, and test AV equipment, as well as provide client training.
Position Responsibilities:
- Survey, plan, develop, design, configure, and test multi-class AV solutions for government clients. Own audiovisual system design, including DSP layout and audio design and configuration.
- Support enterprise-level security compliance and IP Networking including TCP/IP routing, ACL's, QoS, VLANs, PoE calculations, multicasting, and security certificates.
- Document and negotiate system requirements. Research, identify, and recommend technology options.
- Draft Bill of Materials (BOM) and support documentation.
- Generate functional system descriptions and simplified signal flow. Complete block line diagrams, rack elevations, custom plates, cabling assemblies, and cable management.
- Participate in complex engagements and work directly with clients and project teams to develop budgets and timelines and to manage expectations.
- Provide comprehensive AV system training and user guides to onsite personnel.
- Provide technical coordination and leadership of onsite sub-contractors and vendors
- Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations
- Develop expertise in the industry through ongoing review of trade publications.

- 3+ years of related work experience for level 3.
- 5+ years of related work experience for level 4.
- Must be able to travel to various job sites as needed. Current, valid driver's license required.
- This position is for first shift but may require occasional compensated, ad hoc support after hours.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate degree or higher.
- AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification.
- DSP platform (Biamp, QSC, etc.) experience.
- IP platform (Crestron, Extron, Thinklogical, ...) experience.
