RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Waltham, MA that is seeking a Customer/1 (C1) Billing Tester with hands-on experience in the Energy and Utilities industry. This role will work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure system accuracy, data integrity, and end-to-end testing coverage for billing-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Customer/1 billing systems
* Validate billing calculations, adjustments, and rate configurations in C/1
* Perform system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and end users to identify and resolve defects
* Document and communicate testing results, ensuring traceability to business requirements
* Support production validation and post-implementation testing activities
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-6 years of testing experience, with at least 2+ years focused on Customer/1 (C1)
* The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of billing processes, rate structures, and meter-to-cash operations within the C/1 ecosystem
* Strong background in Energy and Utilities operations (meter-to-cash, billing, rates, or payments)
* Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
* Solid understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and quality assurance best practices
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
* Experience with automation testing tools
* Familiarity with CIS implementations or migrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
