SAP Technical Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant - (Remote 6+ months)

Role : SAP Technical Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant

Project location : Herndon, VA (Remote 6+ months)

We are seeking a skilled SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant with hands-on experience in BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus) to join our SAP project team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and implementing RAR solutions to support IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance and revenue recognition processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) solutions, including integration with SD, FI, and other modules.
• Design and manage business rules using BRF+ for performance obligation identification, event handling, and contract modifications.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with developers for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Support revenue allocation, contract combination/separation, and revenue postings.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years in SAP RAR implementation or support.
• Strong expertise in BRF+ rule creation and maintenance.
• Good understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SD, FI, and integration points with RAR.
• Ability to interpret and implement business requirements into system solutions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience with Revenue Accounting Event Framework (RAEF).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• SAP Certification in RAR is a plus.
