Job Details

ASSYST is seeking a highly skilled Senior ERP Developer to support and enhance our client's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications in Austin, TX.
The focus will be on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, specifically the Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, modifying, and integrating ERP solutions. This includes programming, testing, and debugging applications to ensure successful integration and system performance. The developer will also handle data conversions from legacy systems and build interfaces with third-party systems.
Please Note: Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).
Job Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid all Wednesdays Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 ERP applications.
  • Develop solutions using PeopleTools, including PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, COBOL, and SQR.
  • Build integrations using Integration Broker with REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
  • Perform ETL tasks for migrating data from legacy systems into PeopleSoft.
  • Create and maintain interface programs to and from third-party applications.
  • Develop advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries and scripts for Oracle databases.
  • Create and run Linux OS shell scripts for automation and system tasks.
  • Configure and enhance Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical design documents.
  • Use Microsoft O365 tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio for documentation and collaboration.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment using MS Teams.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development cycles.
  • Maintain technical documentation and manage deployments using tools like STAT and Jira.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, specifically in Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.
  • At least 8 years of experience developing with PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, COBOL, and SQR).
  • At least 8 years of experience developing integrations using Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
  • At least 8 years of experience with advanced SQL and PL/SQL in an Oracle database environment.
  • At least 8 years of experience with Linux OS scripting.
  • At least 8 years of experience working with AWE (Approval Workflow Engine).
  • At least 8 years of experience analyzing business requirements and developing technical design documentation.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio).
  • At least 4 years of experience using Microsoft Teams in a large team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government).
  • Experience with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials system.
  • Experience with the Treasury Offset Program (TOP).
  • Experience using SharePoint for collaboration and content management.
  • Familiarity with Jira for task tracking and Agile workflow.
  • Experience working with the Scrum framework.
  • Experience using STAT for PeopleSoft migration and change control.
