Role: Lead Business Analyst Supply Chain

Note: Location: New Jersey (Look for candidates in and around Nj within commutable distance)
It s a Hybrid role and the candidate may have to work from the client location as needed but will be remote for the most part.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, with more than 3 years of these focused on supply chain function. This role will involve working closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, gather requirements for a solution, analyse processes, and supporting testing and implementation of solutions that drive success. Should have experience with Pharma or life sciences industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyse business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documents, process maps, and data models.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and quality assurance, to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases; participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide ongoing support to clients and internal teams during project implementation and post-launch.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on project goals.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master s or bachelor s degree in business administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in a business analyst role, with 3 or more years of these focused on supply chain function.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
- Previous experience working in the life sciences domain is a plus.
