Seniority Level: Minimum 8 years

Top 3-5 Technical Skills:

  • Ability to drive people, provide strong leadership, and ensure alignment on the Snowflake to Databricks migration project
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Competence in CRM platforms like Salesforce.com and peripheral apps supporting critical business processes
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and full lead lifecycle
  • Experience in Data Governance within publicly traded companies
  • Familiarity with Data Integrations, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Redshift, Postgres, Informatica)

Project Scope & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EDI TPM efforts with deep data integrations experience
  • Support Analytics and EDI fundamentals
  • Manage the Snowflake to Databricks migration
  • Strong preference for candidates with prior Snowflake to Databricks migration experience
  • Provide technical expertise to support the EDI team manager
  • Balance end-to-end project management with cross-functional collaboration
  • Operate at a Portfolio level
  • Experience using Asana tool is a plus

The Business Intelligence and Data teams at Asana accelerate the customer journey. The Technical Program Management team partners with these teams to build a scalable foundation of technology, data, governance, and processes that turn go-to-market strategies into results.

Responsibilities:

Manage full lifecycle of projects and programs from kick-off to execution and closure Foster open collaboration with cross-functional teams Work with technical and non-technical disciplines to ensure impactful results Identify, manage, and mitigate risks Create repeatable project management processes to scale the business Ensure portfolio success through execution, communication, and change management Improve Enterprise Technology methodologies and execution models Coordinate shared resources and dependencies across projects Establish clear roles and responsibilities for project teams Detect misalignment and risks, gaining consensus on mitigation strategies Expand existing footprint with new technologies, conducting build vs. buy analysis Ensure Business Intelligence project roadmap is prioritized for maximum velocity

Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years in senior project/program management Expertise in Business Intelligence, Sales, or Customer Success
Proficiency in project management methodologies
(Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) Competence in CRM platforms like Salesforce.com

Understanding of SaaS business models and full lead lifecycle Experience in Data Governance within publicly traded companies Familiarity with Data Integrations, Data Engineering, and BI technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Redshift, Postgres, Informatica) Ability to balance program workloads and staffing
