Software Resources has an immediate, Remote job opportunity for a Junior IT Analyst (Security) / IT Coordinator (Security/Privacy).

12+ month contract


Remote Opportunity with a Major Corporation in Century City, CA
We're seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Junior IT Analyst (Security) or IT Coordinator (Security/Privacy) to join our team. As a key member of our security and privacy operations, you'll work closely with various stakeholders to implement technology team privacy operations and support other privacy program initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large Privacy shared mailbox with multiple folders, understand the issues-at-hand, and which internal working group to forward requests to
  • Experience with Data Subject Requests (DSRs) and coordinating with other internal global teams on actioning data requests, experience with OneTrust preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis, ability to make discrete data points makes sense with Excel pivot tables, graphs, and other data analysis
  • Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint and ability to create meeting agendas based on feedback from participants
  • Learning and understanding our digital products and technology, where and how they process personal data, and how that translates into privacy data subject rights
  • Experience with Privacy Impact Assessments, for HR SaaS companies or HR consulting firms preferred
  • Previous privacy, compliance, or HR coordinator experience for SaaS companies or consulting firms

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with exposure to privacy operations, auditing, or IT operations
  • Excellent MS Office Suite skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Ability to handle heavy email inboxes and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with a high level of integrity for compliance
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team


Nice to Have:

  • IT or Data Analyst experience
  • Experience with OneTrust
  • Knowledge of global privacy regulations, ISO standards, and NIST frameworks

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the Privacy shared mailbox and respond to standard requests
  • Assist in reviewing and managing Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Develop deep expertise in products and technology and how they process personal data
  • Provide guidance on privacy analytics and processes
  • Continuously improve the firm's global privacy program


Supervision:

  • Receives direction from the Privacy Director with matrixed reporting to Vice President- Privacy and co-Chief Privacy Officer.
