SAP Analytics and Reporting Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics and Reporting Consultant to design, develop, and support analytics and reporting solutions across SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP analytics tools, data modeling, and reporting, with hands-on experience in SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud / Business Data Consolidation) preferred. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP analytical dashboards and reports using tools such as:
    • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
    • SAP BW/4HANA
    • SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Crystal Reports)
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical reporting solutions
  • Create KPI frameworks, scorecards, and executive-level dashboards

Data Modeling & Integration

  • Develop and optimize data models in SAP BW/4HANA or similar platforms
  • Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization

BDC (Preferred Experience)

  • Work with SAP BDC to support enterprise-wide data consolidation and analytics
  • Design reporting solutions leveraging BDC data structures
  • Collaborate on data governance, master data management, and harmonization initiatives
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks within BDC

Stakeholder & Project Collaboration

  • Engage with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements
  • Provide solution design documentation and technical specifications
  • Support UAT, go-live, and post-production activities
  • Train end users and provide ongoing support

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in SAP Analytics and Reporting
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BW/4HANA
  • Experience with SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning
  • SQL and basic ABAP knowledge (preferred)

Functional & Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile or SAP Activate project environments
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud / Business Data Consolidation)
  • SAP certifications in Analytics, BW/4HANA, or SAC
  • Exposure to S/4HANA Finance, Sales, or Supply Chain analytics
  • Experience with data governance and enterprise reporting standards
