Role: Lead Business Analyst (On-Site)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Business Analyst to lead and mentor a team of business analysts while driving the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes across multiple projects. This role combines leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on analytical expertise to ensure that business requirements are well understood, clearly documented, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Support
- Lead, guide, and support a team of business analysts, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Assign, prioritize, and oversee workloads to ensure high performance and timely project delivery.
- Conduct regular peer reviews and provide coaching to help team members meet objectives.
Requirements Management
- Oversee the gathering and analysis of business requirements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
- Lead documentation of business processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support system enhancements.
- Ensure consistent use of requirements management tools and methodologies across the team.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and development teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to prioritize work, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project execution.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture business needs and provide status updates to leadership.
Reporting & Quality Assurance
- Monitor progress on multiple projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Review team outputs, including user stories, process flows, and requirements traceability, for accuracy and alignment.
- Lead testing and validation efforts to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Collaboration
- Partner with IT teams, vendors, and consultants to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to align technology solutions with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and managing product/sprint backlogs.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in process modeling, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience working with enterprise-level or multi-module systems.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar requirements management tools.
- Experience with statistical tools or data analysis is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CSPO, or PMP are preferred.
