Job Details

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a network automation-focused position.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, YAML) and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with network device APIs (REST, NETCONF, SNMP) and automation of Cisco/Juniper/Arista environments
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), and container environments (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, ACLs, etc.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Certifications such as Cisco DevNet, CCNP, or Juniper JNCIA-DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Network Automation Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain automated network solutions in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting and programming skills, deep understanding of network protocols and architectures, and experience with automation platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network automation scripts, playbooks, and workflows using tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform, or Cisco NSO.
  • Build and maintain version-controlled, repeatable network configurations and services.
  • Integrate automation tools with APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and ITSM platforms for end-to-end provisioning and change management.
  • Automate routine tasks such as provisioning, configuration, compliance checks, and validation setups.
  • Work closely with network architects, DevOps, security, and cloud teams to align automation efforts with organizational goals.
  • Maintain clear documentation of code, designs, and automation procedures; contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices.
