Job Details

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join one of our manufacturing clients. The Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and related technologies. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software, managing network servers, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing the company's Azure cloud infrastucture, ensuring it's optimal performance, security, and scalability.


  • Location: Long Beach, CA
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $45/hour W2 based on experience, plus benefits

What You ll Do:


  • Administer and maintain Azure cloud environments, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection and policy management
  • Support and manage virtual and physical servers, Active Directory, and core infrastructure across 40+ locations
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and resolve escalated helpdesk tickets from an MSP and internal Service Desk team
  • Participate in occasional on-call rotations and minimal travel to provide on-site setup/support for new or closing offices
  • Collaborate closely with IT leadership and mentor junior technicians, while contributing to knowledge base documentation

What Gets You the Job:


  • Strong experience managing Microsoft Azure, Entra, Intune, and Defender, with deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
  • Background supporting environments of 800+ users and hybrid infrastructures (on-prem and cloud)
  • Hands-on skills with Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and common network technologies like Meraki and VPN
  • Experience using tools like ServiceNow, Kaseya/Autotask, and Proofpoint; familiarity with SQL Server a plus
  • Proven track record of technical problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced IT environment
