Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Onsite

Description:
As an Off Shift Maintenance Supervisor at client, you will oversee skilled trades employees who maintain foundry equipment.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading safety, environmental, and ergonomic initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and ergonomic regulations.
Supervising preventive maintenance and timely completion of tasks.
Collaborating with maintenance engineering for equipment repairs and improvements.
Providing necessary training and resources for personnel.
Driving engagement in safety processes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Handling overtime work as required by production needs.
Fostering a positive employee environment through effective communication and guidance.
Required Skills/Experience:
Proficient in SAP plant maintenance for scheduling and purchasing.
Minimum of 2 years in industrial equipment maintenance. (hydraulics, cylinders, motors, heavy industrial experience)
Skillful in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
Effective planning and adaptability to changing conditions.
Knowledgeable in OSHA CFR 1910 regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication skills and team-oriented problem solver.
Desired Skills/Experience:
Experience with RS Logix for machine troubleshooting.
Understanding of 480V Power Distribution.
At least 5 years of foundry maintenance experience.
Minimum 5 years in maintenance supervision.
Proven team leadership capabilities.
Competence in managing changes for improvement.
Familiarity with wage/union policies and procedures.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a foundry environment.
Preference for candidates with maintenance experience in hydraulics, motors, heavy industry, and foundry work, especially within a unionized environment.
Notes:
Open to working 2nd (2:30 - 11 PM) or 3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 7 AM).
Mandatory overtime an hour before shift start for preparation.
50% of the role requires presence on the shop floor.
May drive a Gator or Scooter around factory after completing safety training.
