Job Description

This position is part of the Enterprise Business Digital Transformation organization, supporting the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Business Area. This position successfully applies technology to meet service commitments for our primary clients; Lockheed Martin (LM) Aeronautics Business Area (BA) and the Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation organization.

The selected candidate will join the Classified IT support team, performing IT Systems Administration across multiple platforms including Linux Red Hat, eSXi, VMware Horizon, Windows Server, AWS/Azure cloud environments and Windows/Linux desktops. Additionally, this candidate will support the Program Software Development team with configuring and maintaining DevSecOps tools and development environments.

* This is an on-site role in Ft Worth, TX, and ship / Active Secret Clearance (with the ability to obtain Top Secret) is required for this role due to program requirements; The work schedule is a 4x10 Mon - Thurs ***

Basic Qualifications

Secret Security Clearance
Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
3+ years' Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, 9)
3+ years' Experience with Windows Operating Systems (i.e., Windows Server 2016, 2019, Windows 10, 11, GPO, Active Directory, Teams, Exchange, Skype etc.)
Experience with standard scripting languages (i.e., Perl, Bash, PowerShell, YAML, etc.)
Experience with virtualization platforms (i.e., VMware, Horizon, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V, etc.)
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) Requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Implementation
Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, etc.))
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP) within 90-days of start date.
Experience with configuration management platforms (i.e., Ansible, SCCM/MECM, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to lift 30 lbs

Desired skills

Experience with Automation and Pipeline tools administration i.e. Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Podman, Docker, Artifactory, Nexus, OpenStack
Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and private/on-prem cloud infrastructure (i.e., OpenStack, NSX, vCloud, vRealize, Azure Stack, AWS Outpost)
Ability to obtain IT Related Certifications (i.e., RHCSA, VMWare, Network+, Cloud+; Linux+; Network+ce; LPIC-1 Linux Admin, etc.) within 90-days of start date.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
