RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Engineer V in Reston, VA.

Duties:
* IT Engineer V will act as a strategic leader and coach for the ART, ensuring effective Agile execution
* Synchronizing activities across multiple Scaled Agile Framework (SAFex) architecture and development teams
* Facilitating Agile events: PI Planning, System Demos, Scrum of Scrums, and ART syncs
* Establishing and managing calendars for iterations and program increments
* Identifying and managing program-level risks and dependencies
* Escalating and resolving impediments affecting ART performance
* Developing SAFe metrics reporting that provide valuable insights to senior leadership, driving change and decision making
* As an IT Engineer V, you will provide regular updates to senior leadership
* Coaching teams and leaders on Lean Agile principles
* Ensuring ART compliance with the change management process
* Identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities and best practices across the ART

REQUIREMENTS:
* SAFe Scrum Master or similar certification
* SAFe RTE certification (strongly preferred)
* 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or a Release Train Engineer
* Solid experience using Jira and developing reporting metrics to gauge ART performance and predictability
* Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
* Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills
* Ability to influence and lead without direct authority

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
