RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Pittsburgh, PA that is seeking a talented Solution Developer to join their Product Information Management (PIM) team. In this role, you will design and implement project-specific solutions, collaborating with business users and project managers to create innovative applications that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, modify, and develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly solutions in the PIM environment
* Ensure maintainability and quality of code. Analyze existing code, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs
* Write code that adheres to best practices in software development
* Collaborate with team members to ensure that the solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements
* Contribute to daily business operations and develop an in-depth understanding of PIM technology
* Train users in implementation and daily use of the system
* Develop system implementation plans. Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of experience in coding, analysis, design, and development
* 2+ years of experience in XSLT and JavaScript frameworks; Experience with J2EE, Java, XML or XPath is a plus
* Experience with development processes such as code review, unit testing, continuous integration, build, and release
* Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design for performance, scalability, and availability
* Understanding of architecture, logic modeling, and design patterns
* Ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation
* Ability to recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards
* Experience working in Agile Scrum and DevOps-aligned delivery teams is a plus
We Value:
* Experience with data governance frameworks and data quality measures
* Experience with CMS platforms, especially integrating them with other enterprise systems
* Knowledge of PIM systems, particularly in the context of managing complex product data and ensuring accurate and consistent information across channels
* Familiarity with flow-based, JavaScript development tools for visual programming such as Node-RED
* Familiarity with DAM systems, particularly in managing and organizing large volumes of digital assets like images, videos, and documents
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-based application development
* Proficiency in data modeling, data mapping, and integration with ERP/CRM systems
* Effective communication skills and product sense
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to modern technologies and frameworks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
