Job Details
Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to margin lending processes and systems.
Design and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large financial datasets for reporting and insights.
Collaborate with developers and solution architects to support API integrations between margin lending platforms and trading, risk, and client systems.
Analyze existing margin lending workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process flows for new product features and system enhancements.
Validate and test API responses, ensuring proper data mapping, authentication, and business logic implementation.
Provide support for regulatory, risk, and compliance reporting related to margin calls, credit exposure, and collateral management.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and deliverables.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist with defect tracking, resolution, and deployment readiness.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
3 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on margin lending, brokerage, or collateral management.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and analyze data sets.
Solid understanding of APIs (RESTful preferred), including testing, data structures (JSON/XML), and integration workflows.
Familiarity with margin lending principles such as haircutting, margin calls, collateral valuation, and credit risk.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, and Excel; familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
